MV Seahunter
After hundreds of diving expeditions, the Sea Hunter has evolved into the consummate hybrid of luxury and utility. This 115-foot (35 meters) cruiser boasts a global reach, and was specifically conceived for long-range journeys to remote destinations like Cocos Island.
The spacious craft has everything a serious diver or photographer could ask for. Individual gear lockers, private camera/strobe storage bins with 110 & 220 ac power, dual camera rinse tanks and even a drone takeoff/landing pad.
Ten comfortable staterooms accommodate every amenity with plenty of room for up to 20 passengers, including ensuite controllable air conditioning , hot water showers, daily housekeeping and complimentary laundry service. Ample public spaces include an indoor lounge and study plus a spacious sundeck for relaxing in between dives. A well-equipped galley enables our chefs to prepare delicious, healthy and varied cuisine for all dietary preferences – using only the freshest, sustainably sourced ingredients. With three scheduled meals per day and snacks in between, there are ample opportunities throughout to refuel.
Two comfortable 24-foot skiffs serve as tenders to ferry divers to and from the dive sites. Powered by fumeless 4-cycle, 115 HP twin-outboard motors they will rapidly take up to 11 divers per skiff to any site within an extended radius of the mothership. Skiffs are fully equipped with VHF radios and portable GPS. A T-Roof and rigid bow cover is also mounted on these vessels for your comfort. They perform ship-to-shore transfers, shuttling divers to remote sites, and any other conceivable recreational or support duties.
Each year our specialized crew devotes 4-6 weeks of dedicated maintenance to keep the Sea Hunter in tip-top shape. Everything is taken apart, the boat is repainted and all diving equipment serviced. All safety drills are practiced and updated.
Sea Hunter’s spaciousness and brilliantly engineered design is complemented by a seasoned crew of ten, who go above and beyond to ensure that every voyage is a trip of a lifetime. Together they have introduced adventure divers, professional photographers and cinematographers to an unparalleled level of liveaboard sophistication.
MV Seahunter
A superbly stable and robust craft, the Sea Hunter combines the functionality and power of a workboat, yet with the luxurious interior of a modern yacht. Our vessels truly set the gold standard for live-aboard dive boats.
